Great little Boutique, fruit and vegetable shop in the centre of Grand Central

The fruit and vegetables are always fresh. A very good variety. Other interesting products also. The freshly squeezed orange juice is a must. 😋

Thanks to give me an incredible experience for 5 bucks watermelon. What a great day. Bought a watermelon yesterday and cut today. As soon as stabed a knife in, wierd bubble came out and as you can see photos...yes it is OFF obviously. I gave it a bite, yes spit it out. Straight after, I brought a quarter of it and gently asked and showed him. He yelled "You can't return it!". I said "I've never asked for a refund. I am here to notify this is off. try it.". He kept yelling "I can't tell watermelons are off or not before I cut!. Oh I see. Then do you want me to cut and see whether it's OK to eat before I buy? Or If I got the rotten one, it explains bad luck? He continued yelling "Go grab another one! take another one!" I was trying to keep my anger down indeed because there was nothing I could get feel better. I said "Why are you shouting at me? You don't have to shout." He said "I'm not shouting. This is my NORMAL VOICE!" At that moment, everyone around the opened shop was looking at us. Although he was normal decibel. So now, is there anyone who can be smiling and take another one away home enjoy in this situation? I've NEVER expected CUSTOMER SATISFACTION here. HOWEVER, I also did not expect inappropriate attitude ended up with making feel myself a beggar. Here you go mate go home. I left the quarter of rotten watermelon on him and walked away. Best in town with excellent customer service. Huge Variety of veggies and fruits with reasonable prices. Worth the visit...must try.👍
