Excellent night at the Prawnster. Originally booked for the Princess, but was a bit too wobbly for us so we were able to be moved to the Pontoon. All seafood was great, and we were provided with corkage for both beer and wine. Brought our own sides and plates, wooden forks provided. Will be back!

Best view in town. Fun experience being on a boat. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Considering the price of seafood it would have been nice to have at least been provided some table salt and pepper at minimum. Be aware this is purely byo. They don't even provide paper plates. Also you may want to byo salad and sides as pure seafood only provided. They also didn't have ice and said they were going to retrieve it though it was never provided. Photo credit Amelia

Absolutely loved The Prawnster! The seafood was so fresh, the staff were super lovely, and the whole experience on the trawlers was just unforgettable. It’s BYO, great value, and one of the most memorable places I’ve eaten at.

It’s such a great vibe sitting on one of the boats or at the pontoon and enjoying super fresh seafood. The prawns were so good we got an extra serve. There’s no sides so bring your own. Also welcome to BYO wine or beer.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Prawnster on the Brisbane River! My wife and I ordered the lobster platter and a dozen fresh oysters, and both were nothing short of spectacular. The lobster was beautifully fresh and served chilled, letting its natural sweetness shine through, while the oysters were briny, plump, and perfectly shucked. The relaxed, floating setting on the river made it even more special you can’t beat those views while enjoying top-quality seafood. The staff were warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. If you love seafood and want something unique in Brisbane, this is a must-do. We’ll definitely be back for more!
