My family and I visited The Oyster Farmerโs Daughter for lunch and, on our first attempt, arrived without a reservation and unfortunately couldnโt be seated, despite the genuine and helpful efforts of the staff. We made sure not to repeat that mistake the next day โ and weโre so glad we came back. We were given a beautiful table overlooking the water, with live music adding to the already perfect atmosphere. The setting alone is special, but the food absolutely lived up to it. As youโd expect, the oysters were exceptional โ fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The cocktails were excellent, and the seafood tacos were phenomenal, easily a standout of the meal. It was also great to see a range of kid-friendly options on the menu, making it a place the whole family could enjoy. Between the stunning location, relaxed vibe, live music, outstanding seafood and friendly service, it was a truly memorable dining experience and one we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Narooma. As a humorous side note, my wife and I also made the grave financial error of introducing our 9-year-old daughter to oysters here. It is no surprise that she loved them, and while this is obviously no fault of the establishment, it has effectively ensured a lifetime of expensive seafood tastes and has left us questioning our future financial stability. A testament, really, to just how good the oysters are.
Fresh oysters, stunning waterside views, and a super relaxed vibe. The place is a perfect spot for a laid-back lunch in Narooma. The oysters are plump and beautifully fresh, and the fish tacos are amazing. Portions are a little small for the price, but the quality and setting make up for it. Friendly staff, great seafood, and a view youโll want to linger over.
Super highlight spot - must do. Oyster were very tasty, tacos amazing and fries very crispy. Not that much veggie options. A little bit pricey and you need to order on the counter, so -1 star for service. Food will be served to your table. Overall still 5 star rating!
Went in for our 3.30 lunch and were seated and served quickly. Fish and chips and fish tacos. We also got a dozen kilpatric. At $72!! Coming from Tassie this nearly made me choke on the small buy delicious oysters. ($20 a dozen natural at Woolies...) Love the setting, service and atmosphere but value for money was waaay off!
Visited this amazing venue yesterday to celebrate my partners birthday. From the entrance down the drive it was charming quaint authentic and buzzy.... attention to the customer was absolutely on queue. The staff were brilliant even singing happy birthday! They definately know the history and heritage of the business. Food was the most tasty clean and fresh seafood! The attention to flavours were zero to none... especially the misobutter scallops! Thankyou guys we will be back and sure to tell everyone of your perfect hideaway destination venue!
