A party of 7 friends catching up whilst on holidays from North Qld. Two friends in the group now live in the area. We were seated on the deck overlooking the vineyard and the Tamar River. Everyone was happy with their meals and wine/drink choices. Excellent service from our 3 servers, Amanda, Michelle and Ella. All ladies had great personalities. A special shoutout to Ella who was a real treat the whole evening and did great photo tutorials for us 🤣🤣 Overall a really great evening with no complaints at all. Would return if ever in the region again.

Recommend for a lovely meal. A fantastic spot with great views over the Tamar and a wonderful outdoor area. Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious. Oysters with gin, fetta and panko crumbs were delicious. Scallops and chorizo such a colourful plate and tasty. Oh my goodness, the pork ribs are enough for 2. A very enjoyable evening.

We were a bit hesitant to book here after seeing some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, but I am so glad we followed our gut and went anyway. The Service: From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. We felt well-taken care of throughout the entire evening. The Main Course: The food was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and the serving sizes were very generous. * Orange Roughy: Served with a vibrant Asian salad—refreshing and flavorful. * Barramundi: Our companions had this with fries and salad, and it was a hit across the table. The Desserts: We couldn't resist the dessert menu, and they did not disappoint. Every dish came beautifully presented with berries, cream, and ice cream: * Deconstructed Banana and Toffee Pie: A creative and delicious twist. * Lime Cheesecake: Perfectly tart, served with a refreshing raspberry sorbet. * Sticky Date Pudding: Rich, classic, and comforting. Honestly, we could not fault one single thing about our visit. If you're on the fence, give this place a try!

Late booking yesterday for Fathers Day for 2. Very accomodating for us today. We were met with a very happy golden lab. First tick of the day (we are lab lovers). View albeit with the weather was still spectacular. The staff so friendly. We ordered the scallops and oysters kilpatrick for entree and the lamb shank special and mushroom risotto. Could not fault anything with the food at all. The couple next to us ordered a dessert which had fairy floss. OMG- fairy floss is my favourite- I simply made comment that Ruth could leave the fairy floss on my table, and within minutes she brings out a little fairy floss just for me. It’s the little things like this that just add to the quality of the service. Highly recommend- if we are ever back in town, will definitely be back

We had an incredible experience at The Ducks! Every dish we ordered was delicious the oven-baked brie was rich and gooey, the schnitzel perfectly crispy, the mega burger lived up to its name, and the blue cheese linguine was packed with flavour. Even the kids' chicken nuggets meal was a hit! The cocktails were absolutely spot-on creative, well-balanced, and seriously tasty. Huge props to the staff to0 they were super attentive, friendly, and made us feel really welcome. Can't wait to come back!
