The sushi was pretty decent — nothing fancy, but super fresh! Totally worth the price. We had to wait quite a bit in line, but honestly, I get the hype now. The place just has that chill vibe and good food combo. I’m already thinking about coming back next time! 🍣✨

I’ve always liked the food here, but the service during my tonight's visit was extremely poor. The waitress had a very bad attitude — she forgot to bring us water, and even after I ordered an apple juice, she didn’t serve it until I reminded her. She also mixed up the fish names, causing us to reorder the wrong item on our second round. Worst of all, while we were still eating, she kept rushing us to leave. She came back every 10 seconds asking whether we’d finished or if the new order had arrived — it was very uncomfortable. Finally, when processing payment, she made multiple mistakes — I had to wait over five minutes as she cancelled the payment and forgot to apply my membership discount. The old staff, especially the tall gentleman with long hair and the older waitress, were always so friendly and professional — I really miss their excellent service. Food quality remains good, but the service has gone downhill badly. I hope management pays attention and improves staff training soon.

Sushi Kaido is hands down the most authentic Japanese sushi place I’ve ever been to. The service was amazing – really attentive without being over the top. The food is definitely on the pricier side, but completely worth it for the quality and freshness you get. All of the specials of the day looked incredible, making it hard to choose just one. I’d definitely recommend Sushi Kaido to anyone who wants a amazing Japanese dining experience.

Great quality ingredients, friendly service. Their sushi is warm which makes them much more tasty but that also means it's better to order bit by bit as if you order everything all at once, parts of the sushi will cold down.

Unassuming sushi place in Chatswood. Bit of a wait but I would say it’s worthwhile. Decent Menu range of offerings to order from. It was our first time and we went for most of the specials available! Fish was fresh and if you’ve been to Japan it’s similar in the sense that the slices of fish is nice and big with just enough rice. Service was good and fast! As the premise is relatively small, I would advise for customers to be mindful of the wait outside if you see a line to be considerate to share the love of good sushi with others.👍😊 This is our new found sushi place for sure! Will be returning!
