I have been here twice now and I can confidently say it is my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Small, cosy, delicious and well thought out menu. The service is fantastic and it feels like they truly care about providing you with the best experience. The omakase is well priced for the amount of food you get, and the care and precision of each of the dishes.

Absolutely terrific! My husband and I came here for the first time with some friends to celebrate a special occasion and it was one of the top food experiences we've had. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was warm, generous, and available without prompting. It was such a treat. The menu is an omakase style (not a la carte), but you can add on additional chef's selections and/or sushi which you should definitely do to get the full experience. Drink selection was fantastic and I enjoyed trying a sparkling sake for the first time. Can't wait to come back here.

Best omakase I had in my life. Great service. Place is small and exclusive. Have to book ahead. Uni is a must add on I reckon. I hate Uni prior to this meal but now I want to go back to have more.

A lovely experience celebrating my partners birthday at Kakizaki. The space is quite intimate and well decorated. The food was prepared meticulously by the highly skilled sushi chef who served each nigiri with care. There were enough dishes to keep us full and entertained, we left feeling satisfied without any extras. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a omakase experience.
