i crave coming to this place when i wake up. no fluff, just real/fresh ingredients, spices, and flavours with perfectly balanced out meals. my favourite when i need a homey plate with a peaceful atmosphere and genuine staff! my favourite drink is the ginger sip + and the nutty mango lassi.

We hopped into Say it with Lentils from another restaurant in Newtown to test out the cuisine as our friend highly recommended the food and service. All 3 of us were very impressed with the service and the delicious dishes that we ordered and shared. We’d highly recommend those strolling through Newtown to give the restaurant a try. The team is a female based team and it’s nice to support a small sweet quaint restaurant managed by a team of ladies and very close to the station. We tried the lamb dish with lentils and the sword fish dish. Thanks to the team! Happy holiday season to the team

We wanted to have lunch before going to The Dendy cinema. This was nearby. It's vegan curries at a reasonable price. We shared a dishes all involving lentils in some form. The egg curry with jammy onions was my favourite. All could have done with a bit more flavour. My friend enjoyed her mango lassi.
