This is such a classy little restaurant. Coming from a regional area as I do, I’ve learned you don’t stumble across many truly special places without looking hard. The Hunter Valley is very lucky to have Salt Chilli and Lime, and I suspect the locals already know it’s something a bit special. The food is imaginative, beautifully balanced, and a genuine pleasure to eat, while the service was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of the menu.

My partner and I had been meaning to visit this gem for quite some time and today we had the pleasure of dining in for lunch. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted warmly and the decor was bright and fresh. There are so many mouth watering options on the menu to choose from and a wide variety on the drinks menu also. Our meals arrived in no time and were absolutely delicious with generous portion sizes. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel welcomed. I would have no hesitation in recommending a visit, I know we can't wait to return.

This is a great neighbourhood gem! Friends took me tonight and I was bowled over by the cruisy atmosphere, great service and tempting menu. My only suggestion would be that the popcorn fish was a smaller portion served with a side.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the seafood platter and was absolutely blown away. Every element was ultra-fresh and perfectly prepared. It came with the sweetest lobster and prawns, oysters and much more! Great value! The atmosphere was just right — vibrant yet relaxed — and the service was flawless. Staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food. You can tell this place takes real pride in what they do. Already planning my next visit. If you’re a seafood lover, this is the spot in Maitland. Unmissable.

Went with my parents tonight for dinner and it was amazing. Super nice service, the owners are amazing cooks and great to speak to. And the food was served quick and was great. Perfect portion size. We had the potato scallops, soft shell crab burger, i forget the name but a fish and a soup.
