Nice business run by a sweet lady. Feels like we’re being cared for. Sushi was fresh. Soup was nice and healthy too.

Google says open but Saturday 10may at 12.20pm you're closed and lights out. ??? 5 stars as an asian takeaway option in the city centre. Good prices, large variety and good flavour. I rarely get asian food when traveling as I'm often unsatisfied. It's a basic shopfront and while they have some sit down tables inside and out, it has absolutely no ambience but if you want takeaway for lunch or dinner, you'll be satisfied. I've provided a pick of their rice/noodle menu but the Japanese family owners also have a variety of other dishes including bento boxes, sushi rolls, dumpings etc and parking out the front. I'd happily give my money to them for my friday night takeout every week than the subway/Maccas and other corporations around the area. We ordered Singapore fried noodles (voted delicious by the meat eater with us) and plenty of bbq pork. Ohako seafood fried rice (lots of fish cakes and a few prawns), veggies etc and you can customise the level of spice as well. The Nasi goreng seafood rice was good as well as the Me Goreng Seafood noodles. But the highlight was the service and the Ohako fried rice. Next time I'm in Geelong I already know I'm going to try their Char Kwai Teo. And the ost lovely owners, just a beautiful couple cooking beautiful food and providing beautiful service. $15 for a full noodle box of rice or noodles and a smile all within 10 minutes, well why are you still reading this, go give them a try and see for yourself!

Had the veggie dumplings and homemade spring rolls. So fast and reasonably affordable. Friendly service.

The food was fantastic. Service quick. I had Char Kway Teow with chilli, which was super enjoyable.

Love places like this. Opposite Village Cinemas you'll find such a great little Japanese restaurant called Ohako. I was able to custom order my noodle box. This was full of flavour and a great price. It's fairly outdated inside, however very clean. The food was cooked fresh and was fast. The lovely Asian couple here were also very polite too. First time here. Will be back again for sure!
