Was looking for a good Fish & Chips shop, based on a few recommendations decided to try Manta Ray on High. Fish and chips was awesome, and we got a pack for 2 [2 x fish, 4 calamari, 2 prawn cutlets and chips. 2 cans of drink] for $36 good value. We then drove to Picnic Point (4 mins) sat at a table and watched the sunset. Great way to spend an early evening. Btw: we had our own BYO wine, at picnic point.

Ordered the coral trout tonight and it was absolutely amazing. Easily some of the best fish we’ve had in a long time — which says a lot, considering we were at the coast just last week. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back

It's true. This IS a new fish shop business which IS run by a dinkum Aussie family (with very cute kiddies!). Located in the Drake's complex in High/Meibusch streets. Tried for the first time for lunch, and we can attest to what others have written. We tried crumbed and battered fish, calamari and chips. The cooking was perfect, crumbing crisp, battered absolutely delicious and calamari arguably the best in Toowoomba. Lemon wedges supplied. Good serving sizes and fair pricing. Very high quality printed menus. We've already picked what we're trying next time ... and the time after!! Please God let them stay this good!

10/10 good value , great quality fish, crispy airy batter well seasoned chips. Really nice family run true to expectation fish and chip shop. I got the coral trout would highly recommend. Fingers crossed they do flathead at some point 🤞

This is an amazing business. A true family owned Australian business where they are all there. The coral trout and calamari that we had was very fresh and the serving sizes are easily worth the pricing. Brilliant spot for some Friday fish and chips. Thank you
