Went in with a group of five for one drink as we made our way around the area, at the recommendation of another bar manager. The front bar was quiet and we asked about sitting in the front around the window where it was vacant. We were told no worries initially, but then before we sat, a guy behind the bar, quite obviously stressed, bluntly shouted they weren't going to serve us because they were full and said we couldn't sit. He came around from the bar, his demeanour was as if he was stressed and frustrated, not even any consolation for their apparent reservations or inability to accommodate, to lose his cool that they had more patrons than they could serve. It would've been fine if he said "sorry guys we'd love to have you but can't", but someone has an attitude problem. Cool place, would like to try it, but that staff member needs to check themselves. Gladly taken our money elsewhere.

Great wine list. The Riesling was so great. Service was super sweet, everyone was kind. The food was good. The fish based dishes were better. However, the more solid dishes like the ribs and the tartare were ok. Not to say it wasn’t good but the tartare was very mustard forward so it was more of a personal preference. The atmosphere is great. I would stick to the smaller snacks like salami and trout dip. Also had an issue with the water bottle, which the staff was apologetic about but maybe should have been taken further then just a sorry. Super good date spot

Situated in the back laneways of Darlinghurst it can be a little hard to find but is worth it when you do. The wine list is quite large and you can get some very nice wine but it is on the expensive side because of the quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is intimate and it is quite small. This is the perfect for dates and catching up with friends.

The waitress who served us with tattoos possessed exceptional communication skills. She was well-spoken, attentive, and elegant. Her presence made us feel very comfortable, and she provided us with excellent recommendations. We were thoroughly impressed by her service and professionalism. The service we received was more remarkable than the food itself. We’ll return next time to provide more feedback on the food ✨❤️😎

Came in for a few bites and glasses during the happy hour, ended up staying until 8. The small plates were lovely, some light pickled treats preceding the pig’s head sausage which had a great snap and meaty flavour. I took great pleasure in attempting their, “identify the grape and region,” mystery wine game. I failed miserably but had great fun trying to justify my answer to the waiter. The place had a great buzz and had to get a bit more food so had a really well seasoned tartare before finishing the night off with a lovely PX sherry and a semillon dessert wine.
