About

At Loucaโ€™s, weโ€™ve long believed seafood has much to offer. So what did we do? We modernised it and plated it upโ€”using only the absolute freshest and best seasonal produce.

From the outside the restaurant didnโ€™t even look like it was open until you walk around the corner and we were greeted by great customer service and we were made to feel welcome. We started off with an entree which was a fennel and crusted pork with pear and it was delicious. And for the main we had the grilled seafood platter with rosemary potatoes and Greek salad.

Went here for my friendโ€™s birthday dinner. Loved the vibes and the waitresses were super welcoming. They even took photos for us and the place was so pretty. Downside: we noted the birthday in our booking but there wasnโ€™t any complimentary dessert. When I asked, they said if we order one, they can make it special. Bit disappointing for a fancy place, but they added candles and decorations in the end which was sweet. Food was average, but dessert was really good!

Iโ€™ve been to Loucaโ€™s once before and it was fantastic then and still is now. We were lucky enough to dine on the first day of their new seasonal menu and tried a few of the dishes. All were sublime. The halloumi and the octopus were both delicious as were the mains of the lamb and prawn pappardelle. Added highlight of the day was our very friendly and professional waitressโ€ฆ unfortunately we didnโ€™t get her name but it was so nice being served by her

Our new favourite. The fresh oysters and seafood chowder were amazing, not to mention the bread that accompanied the chowder. The prawns and mussels were cooked to perfection. I do wish it was served a little hotter. Lovely restaurant and so happy it wasn't another seafood restaurant with battered and fried fish.

absolutely amazing meal. 5 stars all around. The food was great. Seafood was very fresh. We had 12 oysters, a plate of white bait, Grilled King George whiting, and a seafood pasta. All the seafood was amazing. Excellent recommendations from the front of house staff.
