Amazing experience! The food was delicious The service was outstanding Aakanshya was very kind, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended for good food and great hospitality.
It was good first experience. I had seafood after a long time and it was good. We got the mini bag with extra crawfish and half lobster. We took mild spice which was still spicier than expected. I think we ordered too much crawfish but it was still good. I recommend having a white rice with the food as it comes with a nice curry and it tastes good while mixed with the rice.
We tried the all you can eat and it was pretty frustrating. Each seafood bag was supposed to take about 20 mins to cook. The first round came around that time, everything looked fine except the crab, which seemed undercooked (the meat was still a bit transparent). When we asked, the waitress said itโs a โnew type of crabโ and itโs meant to look like that, but we werenโt confident eating it. We ordered the second round around 7:14pm. At 7:40, the waitress came to apologise and said it would just be another minute. Then at 8:19, she came again with the same message. My bag finally came at 8:24, missing the baby octopus and two crabs, and the crab I did get was completely overcooked and dry. My friendโs order came even later, around 8:42, and came with no crab. The sauce for our bags were mixed up. During that time there was basically no one on the floor, when we went to pay the bill, the waitress explained that something happened in the kitchen and she had to go help there. She tried to make it right by only charging for one person, but it didnโt really make up for how long we waited and how inconsistent the food was. Quit disappointing. The photo is from the second round after > 1 hour wait.
We went relatively early- 6:30 and there were only a few others in the restaurant. When leaving just before 8pm, the restaurant was very busy, although this did not affect sound levels or comfort. Our only issue with atmosphere was that it was very warm inside. Make sure to wear summer clothing! Spices and room temp did not helpโฆ Service was incredible. We had a lady called Akua. She walked us through the menu and explained everything in detail. She provided everything message, although we did have to flag her down for an ice bucket for BYO. We also did not have to wait that long for our food. Arrived at 6:30pm and weโre leaving with full bellies at 7:45pm. Food was delicious!! We purchased the mixed bag with one serving of rice and one serving of baguettes. Between the theee of us, we are large eaters- but we were soooo full towards the end. If you get sides- donโt get many. These bags are humongous. The blue swimmer crabs were disappointing and frustrating. There were many of them in the bag, but they were no bigger than my palm, making it very hard to find any meat in it. Corn was to die for!!
Celebrated my sonโs 17th birthday here . I had written a note in my booking that it was a birthday celebration . I was very surprised that he was given a complimentary mini Oreo cake with happy birthday written on the plate in icing. Excellent service . We order a mixed bag and extra fries to share among 4 adults and a jug of coke. Portion size was just nice. Restaurant was half full so it was not too noisy. We enjoyed it here. Will come again.
