We visited Jordon's Seafood yesterday and had a very mixed experience. The food itself was a bit of a hit and miss: the lobster was absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight of the night. However, the fish was quite plain and dry, which was disappointing. What really ruined the evening was the serviceโ€”or rather, the total lack of it. For a meal that cost over $500 AUD, the level of hospitality was unacceptable. The waitress only appeared to take our order and drop off the food. Once we finished, our empty plates sat on the table for over 20 minutes without anyone coming to clear them. We eventually had to flag someone down ourselves just to get the table cleaned. Itโ€™s a real shame because the lobster was great, but the service was just sad for a honey moon celebration.

Had an absolutely fantastic dinner at this seafood restaurant tonight! The oysters were fresh and perfectly prepared, both the creamy and chargrilled options bursting with flavor. The salmon salad was a highlightโ€”light, vibrant, and packed with fresh arugula, tangy cherry tomatoes, and a rich balsamic glaze that tied everything together. The service was impeccable from start to finish; the staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Weโ€™ll definitely be back for more of that incredible seafood and warm hospitality!

Randomly walked into this place and it honestly turned out to be a great choice. Seafood tasted super fresh, portions were generous, nothing to complain about at all. Staff were easy-going and nice, very natural, not awkward. Whole vibe felt comfortable and relaxed, everything flowed well. Would totally come back next time, no doubt.

Despite what others say this might one of the tourist trap, however I always have a pleasant experience here. Staffs are friendly, helpful and attentive. Foods are delicious, fair priced and beautifully presented. You have nice view to the harbour and fresh breeze, the best of everything here.

If it wasn't for the phenomenal food, I would've actually recommended against Jordon's. Now, first things first. The food is just amazing. The chili peppered, blow torched oyster was out of this world. I have never tasted oysters on a shell prepared this way and it blew my mind. The squid ink linguine was also amazing, which shrimp and calamri cooked just right. Overcooked shrimp and calamari can be rubbery but not at Jordon's. The coconut prawn salad as well as garlic bread was also prepared to near perfection. Again, whoever is running the kitchen really knows what they are doing. Now let's talk about what the issues are. First, they are definitely hiring blonde lady servers wearing tight low-cut shirts. Nothing wrong with this and I can see how it can attract male crowds. Our problem is that our server barely spoke English. She must've been from some Eatern European or Russian-speaking nation. She could barely take orders, misunderstood tabasco for ketchup, and continued to need triple clarifications. Also, she definitely need to use some deodrant. Second, the prices. Yes, the food was good. But at that price? Well, you could say that Jordon's is at a premier location right by the harbor. But somehow, I couldn't help but feel a bit cheated. $69 for a dozen oysters. $40 for a plate of linguine. Somehow, I kept feeling like I was paying to be there rather than just enjoying the food and the vibes. My recommendation to the owner: cut down the music volume. This ain't a night club. Mexican salsa blasting on the speakers adds nothing to the food nor the atmosphere. Hire regular servers so that you don't have to pay the beauty premium, which will bring down the prices. Your food has more class than it being relegated to fiesta mode.
