Delicious food! Loved the fried calamari, spaghetti, and Taramosalata. Great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the Opera House. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Where do I start? First impressions mean alot so here we go!!! We arrived to celebrate our last night in Australia. We stopped by several places but we chose Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant. We had to wait for a seat but it was short and considering we did not have reservations we felt lucky. We were wrong. Seated at a 4 person table we browse the menu and waited for our server Suman who was busy taking care of other tables. We waited and waited and waited. Finally he comes over with an attitude are you ready to order. No introduction, no welcome. Not even a hi. Mind you there was another couple seated after us and he took their order before ours. Hoping things would get better we waited. After a while our couple seated next to us received their order and we were still waiting. Then a manager came over and asked us to move so he can take one of our tables. I asked why and he stated that their was a need for a six person table. Why he singled us out especially when there was a free table for six, ready to go. We moved and did i mentioned we are still waiting for our meals. The manager who asked us to move said he checked and it was coming soon. We'll that turned into another mess as I watched him go back into the kitchen and to the order screen looking for our order. He knew at this point I was totally frustrated with the whole process. I told him about it and pointed out that the server Suman still hasn't checked on us to see if there was anything we needed. And here is the funny thing, he did with the others. Mind you we were not mad or loud or anything to cause us to receive such bad service. We had better service on the cruise at dinner than we had a this so call 5 stars restaurant. The manager tried but unfortunately the damage was done and the impression was bad. He apologized and even give us a free dessert but honestly nothing can make up for the terrible way we were treated. Yes I paid the bill and I admit the food was good (3 stars) but like I told the manager food is only part of the experience. No tip for service because he never waited on us after taking our order, he did nothing else. Suman made an attempt at the end to check in but that was after we had to say something to the manager even then it was half-hearted. The atmosphere was tough because some children were playing and their ball kept rolling in our area underneath the tables and they kept crashing in to retrieve it. Understand it's not the restaurant's fault, parents need to take responsibility of their children but it contributes to the overall bad rating. I did let the manager know this rating was coming.

We had my celebratory graduation dinner at this place and Iโ€™d give it a thumbs up. The atmosphere is great with the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House as the backdrop. Food is nicely done but can be better, I found the pasta to be lacking a little bit of taste and the food wait time a little long. The servers did make up for the service though as they were a accommodating with our requests.

What a fabulous experience for our anniversary dinner. We had the most enjoyable evening. Dinner was delicious, service was amazing from our lovely waitress (Habida?), and the views and atmosphere were the icing on the cake. We will be back - highly recommend!!

The location of the restaurant is truly outstandingโ€”you can enjoy your meal with breathtaking views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House right in front of you. The food was equally impressive. We ordered the Tomahawk steak; even though we had it cooked medium well, it was still incredibly tender and juicyโ€”highly recommended! Last but not least, our server (apologies, I forgot to get her name) was exceptionally professional. All her recommendationsโ€”whether for wine, food, or portion sizesโ€”were thoughtfully considered. She consistently checked on us and ensured our dishes were served in a well-organized sequence, allowing us to savor each course at a comfortable pace without feeling rushed or overly full too quickly. While the prices might seem a bit high at first, they are absolutely justified by the stunning setting, excellent cuisine, and the professional, friendly service. I would love to return on my next visit to Sydney and would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
