We had lunch for two there. The restaurant was mostly empty and quiet (thankfully, no music blaring in the background). It was easy to have a conversation without having to raise our voices. The decor is modern and plain, with plenty of space between tables. For appetisers, we ordered half a dozen oysters each. These were fine (if a little on the small side); not bad, not particularly good. For mains, we ordered a mixed seafood dish for two (which the waiter recommended). The dish included 2 Moreton Bay Bugs (250 g each), 6 unpeeled and 4 peeled medium-size prawns, 6 baby octopus, 6 green-lipped mussels, a few pieces of chorizo (about 150 g total), 2 small ears of corn, and 2 small potatoes. The seafood was of good quality and tasted fresh. The dish is served with a sauce that is somewhat spicy (not truly hot), reminiscent of gumbo or jambalaya, but quite uninspiring and somewhat boring. Because everything is coated in the sauce, the sauce tends to mask the taste of the individual proteins and vegetables, making everything taste much the same (mostly like the sauce), without any contrast. I was not impressed with the way the dish was served (see photos). Getting everything dumped in front of me on a paper tablecloth is not my idea of upmarket dining. I guess this is the restaurantโ€™s special feature, but I personally found that I didnโ€™t care for it much. One problem was that, toward the end of the meal, the lake of sauce had spread and threatened to drip off the table. This meant that we could not rest our forearms any longer (unless we didnโ€™t mind getting red sauce all over our shirt sleeves and cuffs). The meal was served with over-the-head style paper bibs that are large enough to cover the entire torso. Given the way the food is served, these are necessary. Service was fast and reasonably attentive. The menus are iPads (which I personally dislike). After we had finished and were sitting in front of the mess on the table, I had to ask for it to be removed, instead of the waiter doing this as a matter of course. Total cost of the meal for two half-dozen oyster appetisers, the shared main, and one bottle of plain water was $217 ($50 of that was for the oysters). Overall, I canโ€™t recommend this restaurant (at least not for the main course we had). While the seafood was decent, the way it was cooked was uninspiring, the way to serve it was shall we say, โ€œunconventionalโ€, and the cost of the meal was high for what we received.

What a terrible dining experience! I waited for almost 25 minutes before the food was served. Their creamy chicken had no flavor at all, let alone being creamy. The rice was scarce, cold and hard. The toast shrimp was particularly bad. When I took a bite, it was all oil. It was so disgusting... If I weren't so hungry and didn't have time to go elsewhere to buy food, I wouldn't have eaten a single bite.

We came here hoping to try the Alaska crabs, but unfortunately, they were out of stock today. Instead, we ordered the signature Full Bag Chilean, baked hokke fish, linguine with tomato sauce, udon noodle salad, stir-fried rice, fresh oysters, and silver fish. The hokke fish had a soft, smooth texture with no fishy smell, and the signature Full Bag was incredibly tasty โ€” especially the seafood inside, like prawns, mussels, and octopus. Thank you to the staff for the delicious food and excellent service!

Itโ€™s my first time eating here, and as soon as we arrived, a front-of-house staff member welcomed and greeted us with a smile. The food is sooo goodโ€”100/10! ๐Ÿ‘Œ I highly recommend this place to all the seafood lovers out there. We ordered the seafood with butter sauce, and the serving was big, so it was definitely worth the price.
