Heaps of fun talking to the trawlers. Obviously everything was fresh the bugs where amazing as was the large prawns. I would recommend extra large prawns they tasted so much better. If you can afford it get the cleaned cooked crabs unless you really like cleaning them yourself

The seafood was so fresh, catch from sea and straight back to customer prawn are fresh and not frozen.🦐🦀🦐🦀

A must visit if you love seafood! This is probably the freshest seafood you can get in the Gold Coast, and for a fair price! The ships set out every evening and come back early in the morning to sell what they caught the night before. A very unique and interesting experience

Could be 5 stars if more trawlers are available. We arrived at 7am on a Saturday morning and there was already a long queue on one of the trawlers. Another one was ready to open and we hop over the other queue but took about half an hour before opened. Trip was worth it as price of the cooked king prawns ( size see photo) is $35 which is cheaper and fresher than fish market. Bought cooked and uncooked prawns, pinkies, octopus - a kilo of each and the bill came up to under $100. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.
