Great food, freshly prepared in a timely manner even on NYE, they were under the pump, but still smiling, friendly service. There were missing items from our order, when I rang the store, I was amazed they answered as they had been closing when I collected my order. They offered to cook more which was fabulous, but even further I received a call the next day and they refunded me the missing items!! We will be back for sure!

Food was fantastic, we had the battered flake and it was a generous size, beautifully cooked. Chips were chunky, crunchy and delicious. Very good value for money, highly recommend.

A reliable fish and chip shop conveniently located on the main road out of Ballarat. Fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Service with a smile. A great pitstop for a quick lunch or dinner in Ballarat. Roadside seating plentiful. Conveniently located by Ritchies car park in case you want to make a full picnic near Lake Wendouree.

Fish was lovely but that was the only thing good. Asked for extra salt and got none! One potato cake literally didn't have potato inside somehow. Nuggets and dimsims were just off burnt, kids wouldn't eat them. We're not locals so followed the good reviews on Google to find this place and paid more than I normally would. Doesn't offer meal packs. And food disappointing to bad. Would not recommend

Went to Freshly battered yesturday for lunch and was amazed by the fresh salads, juicy fish burger & schnitzel burgers. Potato cakes and dim sims were delicious! Prawns were so fresh and flavourful. Service was impeccable ( we ordered a lot of food). Banana frittas were delicious for a sweet treat. If you are in Ballarat this is a MUST try
