The new owners David and Oleg are really lovely and attentive, providing much care for the freshness and flavours of their seafood. I've now become a fan of their salmon patty which is packed with flavours and it is so juicy! Very different from an ordinary salmon patty where its main ingredient is usually potatoes. The selection of fish may not be as much compared to other bigger fish markets, but they are always fresh and David and Oleg were happy for me to chat with them about pre ordering alternative fish fillets when required. My experience at Fishawk has always been positive and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking for a local fish store in the area. Their calamari rings and chili garlic prawns are delicious too! 🥰

High quality fish and good customer service. I highly recommend Fishawk for seafood at Christmas. You can order so no lines, long wait, or market chaos it is just all really easy and you get fantastic crayfish ready for your festive feast (plus you get a great freebie shopper bag each year).

The quality and freshness of the produce is outstanding! The fish just melts in your mouth, they also have prawn lunch packs and crab bagels amazing along with sauces to finish off your dish. Service is helpful and very friendly. Produce is fresh daily!! You can’t find that very often. I highly recommend especially if you want great product for your dollar you can’t go wrong.
