We work on Kent Street but today was the first day that we visited Fish at the Rocks for lunch and it has become a new favourite! What a beautiful little venue with charm and offering a robust seafood (plus others) menu. The octopus was unreal and we absolutely cleaned the plates of our mains. Loved it and will be back

Really enjoy our dining experience here. The staff is very attentive and friendly, not just answered our questions on the menu but able to accommodate our dietary needs with no hesitation. The seafood there tasted fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the baked barramundi with prawn and red curry rice. The restaurant is nicely presented. Although the place was very much full while we were there but its still quiet enough to have a good intimate chat with someone at your table. A great place to have some nice seafood and enjoy the evening with friends especially so easy to get to with metro and ferry nearby. Love to go back again! Best to reserve tho.

Decided to have dinner at Fish at the Rocks while searching for a dinner venue in the vicinity. Placed was packed on a Tuesday, for good reasons. Service was impeccable by Richard. Friendly and while we were the last to finish, we never felt rushed. We had the snapper of the day and grilled king prawns - fresh, cooked simply and the food was just delicious. Deserts - profiteroles and Raspberry crรจme brรปlรฉe sealed the deal. Wonderful meal!

date of visit๏ผšAug. 22, 2025 While I was studying abroad in Sydney, I stopped by with a classmate. This restaurant is located near the Sydney Observatory. First of all, the exterior of the restaurant was stunning. Inside, it was crowded and bustling, and the vibe was excellent. We ordered calamari, ravioli, whiting, salmon fillet, rocket salad, Greek salad, and a glass of Poli grappa. The cuisine was impressive-creative, well prepared, and clearly made withcare. The timing of the service was right, and the waitress was soso. music flows quietly also make cuisine delicious. I tried grappa for the first time, this was outrageously strong for me. On my way out, I took a photo with the madam. Thank you, madam. If you're looking for seafood in Sydney, Fish at the Rocks is a standout.

Snapper in season and our best choice for a lovely lunch. Execellent fresh whole snapper grilled to perfect timing with the meat texture firm and tender toppings of caper anchovy sauce. And we love the succulent grilled prawns. Both dishes were delicious and yummy. Great wine too with the seafood. Thumbs up to the chef for this lovely meal.
