COCKTAIL WAITRESSES STEAL YOUR MONEY: I visited Earl's with some friends last night,as they had a great eat club discount. I have been a few times before and it had been great. Last night the POS transaction on first round went as usual, we were handed the the eftpos which asks you to key in the percentage you would like to tip or skip the tip before you tap your card. (I have no proplem tipping 5% or so). But from then on the waitresses started tipping themselves, they would simply hand us the eftpos and say "tap here". It wasn't until I looked at my account I noticed the extra transactions had taken place (eat club transacts tips separately) and they were tipping themselves like 20%. Happened to everyone in the group I was with. For that reason I will never go back there. I have no problem with tipping but it left a bad taste in my mouth that they would just take away my choice and slyly help themselves to my money. I wanted to speak to a manager but I shouldn't have to sit there fighting and proving to a manager that their staff are choosing their own tips after I've had a few drinks on a Friday night.
Pasan was a delight to interact with and he promptly reserved us a table for birthday drinks. The staff were very friendly and made awesome cocktails. The ambience gives very New Orelans vibe and the butcher shop facade adds to the character of this place!! 5 starts all the way!
I went on a Friday night and the place was great. It wasnโt as packed as I thought it would be which is exactly what I like. It was busy but I could still grab a table. The place is lovely We had a few cocktails and they were great. The service is amazing. They greet you, offer you water and also serves out cocktails really fast Not sure if thereโs food. If youโre looking for food with your cocktails, best to check because the menu didnโt list any food
A speakeasy located behind a deceptive shop front starts the experience with a degree of exclusivity. Dim lighting and a well-tested menu of innovative cocktails definitely adds a bit of intrigue. The service is very friendly and the bar staff are happy to help you find something you'll enjoy if you strike up a conversation. Drinks are made in front of you in classic theatrical style and it's a pleasure to see artists at work. Plenty of interesting beer on tap, and unusual wines as well... Orange wines are a thing now. I didn't try any of the food, but the fried stuff at the tables around smelt very enticing. Would go back here again and would recommend.
Wonderful cocktails! The menu had a great selection of creative cocktails and the customer service was great. All bartenders were very friendly and fast-paced. We loved the New Orleans look and the atmosphere was very cosy. Would definitely stop by again.
