Traditional Sydney inner city pub. Feel relaxed and comfortable with fellow drinkers
Always a delight to have a meal here, the staff are lovely, we get served promptly, the portions are large, delicious and reasonably priced. No Christmas music in December? Sign me up!

Carlisle has, hands down, the greatest nachos in Sydney. Anil is the head chef and he’s the heart of the Carlisle - the rest of the staff are fantastic too. Food is supreme and vibes are awesome, the whole pub is 10/10
Had a wonderful lunch here yesterday, great food, fabulous friendly staff. Love the character of the front bar. Definitely worth a visit.
