Grabbed some prawns yesterday — well overpriced, tasted off, and now my stomach’s in bits. Not impressed. Absolutely gutted..

Brought some fish the other day. Not sure if was off because it was end of day. Usually when come in the morning the fish is fresh and uniformed. This time different sizes and some of it was not even the fish I paid for. Different colour and different texture and it smelled really bad.

Don't bother going anywhere else in Geelong for fish. Always great quality seafood and service here.

One of our favourite stores but lately we have been very let down by the quality of seafood and in particular shellfish. Amongst other seafood purchases. We bought a kilo of fresh scallops. Again and as per previous purchases, in the process of cooking these, they lose substantial and un-natural amount of water! When one buys a kilo of anything and especially shellfish like scallops or prawns, one is not counting on half the weight being water. Good fishmongers DO NOT soak anything for measly gain of few dollars .
